I want to keep posting art videos since I already set up my room become a mini studio suitable for sketching or craft documentation. Its not perfect at all and I keep messing with my tripod. I'm really desperate about the angle and lighting. But since it gets me excited I think I want to keep make something~~

Hi~~ This is my very first short video about watercolor. I want to share about how making simple art can be healing and reducing your stress right away. Do not need to be art master, you can just playing with your brush, choose your favorite color and randomly splatter your blank space.

Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta

Hari itu, selesai sudah pertunjukkan teater yang dilakonkan oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang berasal dari universitas nomor satu di negeri ini. Pertunjukkan yang sangat bagus, pikirku. Teater itu melakonkan berbagai peristiwa khas dalam negeri, sekelumit konflik masyarakat, dan lagi-lagi tuntutan yang ditujukan kepada para petinggi bangsa. Pengemis, aparat polisi, bandit, sundal, gubernur, rumah kumuh, penjara, rumah bordil, tali penggantung hadir dalam lakon jadi satu bercampur aduk. Pada saat menikmati pertunjukkan panggung berdurasi 4 jam itu, saya hanya mengangguk-angguk dan mengutuk betapa busuk negeri yang mereka ceritakan itu. Kan mereka hanya berlakon, mendramatisir lah, pikirku.

Tapi seketika perasaan bersalah muncul saat saya keluar dari gedung itu.

Pukul 23.30, baru kali ini saya keluyuran di malam minggu saat jam hampir menunjukkan tengah malam.

Tapi apa yang saya lihat?

Anak-anak kecil berhamburan di sekitar kami, 

menjajakan tissue, rokok, permen, koran.

Ini jam tidur anak-anak bukan?  Mengapa mereka masih berkeliaran?

Apa mereka ga ngantuk? Kemana orangtua mereka?

Lalu saya tahu itu tidak benar, 

namun apa yang bisa saya lakukan? Saya bisa bantu apa?

Saya baru saja melihat bukti nyata dari pertunjukkan yang saya tonton tadi.

Kejam sekali negeri ini, 

bahkan lebih kejam dari apa yang pernah orang-orang ceritakan

Lalu, apa yang dapat kita lakukan?

Ah ingiin sekali rasanya membantu, tapi bagaimana? 

Miris, ketika saya melihat realita menyedihkan, 

ketika 30 menit lagi menuju hari Kebangkitan Nasional, 

namun saya masih hanya berdiam, hanya berpikir

Bagaimana caranya saya bisa membantumu adik kecil?

Ketika saya berkutat dengan pikiran tanpa melakukan apa-apa,

tawa anak-anak itu masih bisa membahana 

memecah sunyi malam menuju hari Kebangkitan Nasional itu
