Enjoying to Become Myself

As a girl whom already reach 25 years old, it is not easy to live without expectation of having life partner. I am not bother with my single status but the pressure from everywhere makes me questioned my life. What is wrong with me? Or what is wrong with having single status? Or to make it sounds more misserable: 25 and never have a date. Even my mom surprise. I'm not sure I should be laughing or crying :""D

Yes I am alone but I never been feels I am completely alone. I always try to find new friend and after that I never felt I am all alone. I never been in situation where I have no one to depend on. I also never been far away from home for more than 2 months :""D.

Sometimes when decided something, I also depend on other people. I am not sure it is part of tolerance or not being able to independent. Thinking about how I also involved in organisation as coordinator and have situation to decided something important, I think independency is not my problem though.

People also said: You haven't meet enough people to meet the right one. Hmmm... atleast I've tried? Almost every year I joined new activities where I met new people. But it is not the only one case, right? Sometimes, I also feel like blamed for not married yet by my ganks because I am the oldest among them. I know its not supposedly to become joke and it means they are praying for me also but you know, sometimes its growing my concern.

Last summer, I was experiencing three weeks of solo travel to the Netherlands. Somehow it change my perspective about being independent. For me, who never been living far away from home for more than 2 months, the experience triggered my independency and my self confidence. All of my friend whom already travel with me also know that I am the type of people who just sit back while all of them busy with something. You know what? My best friends were worried that I will sleep in the airport and missed my plane X''D

Being alone in a room, in the middle of stranger's country feels really odd. The emptiness somehow suffocated me. But then I've heard my inner voice talking. So I am more obedient to myself : cooking while I am hungry, cleaning my room everytime I feel unconvenient, singing along while listening to the music, writing blog everytime I feel mellow. I realized that while I'm away from home, there will be no one who giving me instructions to do this and that. I'm the only one who responsible to myself.

Living in the same home for all of my life time, I am afraid that I can't be more familiar with different environment. But then, I have to admit that : maybe it is the time for me to leaving my house, taking another adventure and life experiences. While I am nowhere by myself, I feels like I become more brave and confident. Strange feeling yet exciting.

While in the Netherlands, I decided to take my solo journey by train and bike to another cities. While thinking about that, I worried to death. I might be lost or getting hurt on the way. Or I just worrying something that will likely never happened. One thing for sure: I want to know how far I got to test my courage all alone!

So I've spent my last 3 days to explore Utrecht, Denhaag and Leiden. I went to Utrecht by train and the rest by bike. I have to biking for total 34 km back and forth to Denhaag just to see Madurodam. The next day, I went to Leiden by bike which 27 km away from Delft. I have to pay extra attention to direction in google maps. Since I have no internet data, I have to keep the app open all the time.

First thing to spot on while you leaving Delft city

Since I was in a country that using bike all the time, their bike routes are well-developed~
No need to worry about the route.. The direction in google map also easy to follow. Compared with I've been through in HongKong, the landscape of NL is flat and mostly you only have to pay attention of where the river go. Bike routes mostly following the canals.

No need to worry if no one took your photo, just find one of big window glass, or mirror!

I always can visit my favourite places without feeling uneasy... Or being too tolerate with my travel buddy.

Or stopped at the right place, whenever I feel tired, to have my own ice cream.

To meet this cute new friend... while enjoying my packed lunch..

Or stop awhile to take many photos of beautiful moments

These experiences give me different kind of being independent. Still, after all of that journey, I really missed to have conversation with my friend. But somehow, taking yourself to big journey, alone, is not a sad moment tho. I feels like dating my self (LOL :""). I always drag myself to accomplish something with all of deadline, always putting myself to pressure. While taking a solo journey, I can listen to myself, louder than before. All of conversation between me and myself. Still, I am in the middle of 20++ middle crisis. Talking and knowing ourself is the most important thing in this phase.

Maybe before I could listen to other people, or someone who will be with me all of my life, firstly I have to learn listening to myself. Also, I need to take my independent journey to a higher stage. I always believe that if God do not put ourself to certain condition that we always wanted, it means we haven't finish with the previous test. It might be the same with marriage, getting scholarship, get successful, being famous, and so on. I haven't finish yet with myself, so that God haven't sent me someone that I will taken care for.

Cherry Blossom Festival at Jinhae

Have you ever been in place or situation where you feel like starring at romantic Korean drama?
If you ever visited Jinhae for Cherry Blossom Festival, you will know how I feel :D

This is my first time visit Korea for a trip and I already welcoming by the beautiful cherry blossom everywhere. I thought after all this time cherry blossom just a cliche symbolic of love but after seeing it myself, I'm all in love with them just in second. The mellow-dramatic-romantic feeling is really strong with this. Couples are everywhere (so does their PDA act) and here, I with my other 3 single friends cursing our loveless life (Hahahaa).

I think I really lucky to come by the spring to Korea. The weather is not too cold, not too hot (but still, you have to check weather forecast). The temperature is between 7-20 celcius degree so you can wear shirt in layer and leave your coat at home (like I did hahaa)

Jinhae have the largest festival of cherry blossom in Korea. It started from 1 April to 10 April because the cherry blossom only full blooming for 2 weeks every year. Jinhae is a small city located 1 hour from Busan by Bus. The cost of bus is only 5100 won for 1 trip. When you step up from Jinhae bus station, all of their road already covered in pink with full blooming of Cherry Blossom everywhere.

Selfie, selfie everywhere~

Definitely the best time to wear pink

This place called romantic bridge, located about 20 min by walking from Jinhae Bus Station

This scene really got me, because when everyone take selfie and couple showing their PDA act, this girl have the best way to enjoy cherry blossom blooming. She just sit there quietly with her 2 cats as her company, drawing some cherry blossom flowers.

Her cat's name is Milk, kyeoppta~

And finally make friend with Tana (or Kana?), a bit shy but friendly girl. She lives in Jinhae, really near from this place (So lucky T_T). Every afternoon she would sit here and enjoying cherry blossom.

Cherry blossom can make a cute hair accessories

A lot of small family enjoying cherry blossoms too~
Look at this cute boy and his (hot) papa.

Looking at this beautiful scenery everuwhere makes me daydreaming,
one day I definitely will visit this place again with my love one~ hhahaa

Mirrorless Camera Sony A6000

Well, this time I want to share my experience using sony a6000 fot the first time.
I'm not a pro photographer but I'm enjoying taking photos with DSLR camera. I took my photography when I was in college (It's about architecture photography tho) and I got A mark. I think, photography is my new hobby and I hope I can take more good photos.

Well, I always using manual mode with my bro's camera: DSLR Canon 1100D. All of people know that canon 1100D is a really good camera for beginner and I'm enjoying the features. It really easy when changing setting (ISO, F, speed) even when I have to take photo immediately. What I'm enjoy the most is I can take many photos and video without worrying about battery. I can use the battery from 100% to almost empty in 2-3 days, even when I have a lot of photos to take.

I decided to buy mirrorless camera when some my friends recommend it to me. I don't have any camera with complex feature before (except for digital camera) and I want it to be similar with my brother's. SLR/DSLR is a really good camera, but I have some of inconvenience especially when I have to take photos related to research survey. Bringing the big camera can gather public attention and several times I have to deal with security for taking photos at public facility (like train station, etc). I don't know what different from their perspective, taking photo with camdig or DSLR. They just afraid that I will take photos for media or something like that. It's not fair when I took photos with my camdig days later, they don't take it so serious.

This mirrorless camera have a small body according to another SLR/DSLR camera. It's because, they already remove the 'mirror' inside the camera system so that they appear smaller and lighter. Its really good for street photography, holiday, and portrait purpose.

Why I choose Sony A6000?
Well, I have several options. Between Canon, Fujifilm and Sony. Fujifilm seems really trendy with the vintage appearance. It looks like you carry the old camera but with digital features. Canon mirrorless, it seems they don't really have special feature compared to Sony and Fujifilm. For Sony, they have several series: A5000, A5100, Sony Nex series, A6000, A7. A lot of blog reviewing Sony A6000 for the best mirrorless camera. Mostly because of the high resolution (24 megapixel) and Hybrid AF (179 detect points). But personally for me, compared with other sony mirrorless camera, the button is really easy to use. You can set the manual mode easily and it has viewfinder. About the lenses option, its true that they don't have many option compare to SLR/DSLR camera. But lens is not my priority. Actually, at first I will go to Sony A5000 because my budget didn't allow me to :"" but, I'm waiting and save more money to buy A6000. After 1 year, I got this mirrorless camera. Worth for me to wait.

After I got the camera in my hand, I find it hard to playing with focus. Maybe because I have to adapt with more complex setting, with more options in it. I only got 16-50mm lens for everyday use. After trying several times and learning from youtube videos, I set the focus setting to AEL button. It easier for me to handle the AF. But, I have no idea how to playing with manual focus.

What I really like in this camera, you can shoot in the darkness very well because they have ISO up to 25600! Wow.. Before this I have to satisfied only with 6400. Compared to Canon 1100D with maximum ISO, Sony A6000 seems not really bother with noises. It still look so smooth.

I have interest in nature photography, especially flowers and insects. So I bought a Macro Extension Tube AF E-mount only for $40. It worthed every penny, rather than buying another lens which have the same price with the camera itself.

mine is white color. kawaii nee~

Sooo, this is my first hunting for macro photography, with my Sony A6000, 16-55mm, Macro Extension Tube AF E-mount. Usually I have to zoom in to maximum 50mm then playing with zoom and AF to find the best focus. I set ISO up to 10000-20000 with minimum F and speed between 1/50 to 1/250. No edit for the picture below.

What do you think?
Personally I like how this camera got the colors right and it can snap your moment beautifully
But still, I have to learn more about focusing the object.

Later I will post my shoots when I went to Korea for a trip!
