Not spring, love or cherry blossoms

There’s no one who can walk with me,
Holding hands together
The love songs are so mean to me
Everyone but me is in love, singing spring songs
Flowers are blooming before my eyes
I want to hear something else
Not the story that will just sweep through
Not spring, love or cherry blossoms

예쁘다 (Yeppeuda - Cantik - Beautiful)

Have you ever told by strangers, randomly, that you are so beautiful?

This is the strangest thing I've encountered when I go to Korea..
In a country full of pretty and handsome human everywhere,
Meanwhile I myself feel like potato head walking between them.

Don't you think that is a really strange when a person (or a group of them) randomly
wanted to take photos with you, or insisted buying you some snacks, or just said:

"Hi, you are so beautiful"

Even in my everyday life, only my mom said that to me (LOL)

Really, this experience in Korea didn't happen only once, or twice.
Even I lost count, maybe total almost 8-10 times already?

First, they are so curious about what me and my friends are wearing on our head.
Then, they asking the country where we lived
Some of them observing us from head to toe
But then some of them said salaam, or just smiling,
Telling us that we are dressed beautifully,
covering our body but still let our charm shines

Once in a day, I've experience this 3 times.
First, when an old lady personally tried to talk to me in korean,
She poked me, say hi, then saying something like ''yeppeunde.." and give her  two thumbs up.
As my face look dumbfounded she tried to talk to me again.
All I can do is said 'Thanks~'

Second, when me and Phatty went to Hanok Village
As we tried to take photos each other, one ahjumma (old lady) passing us and randomly stopped by,
watching us take photos and said that we are 'yeppeun',
Then, a group of Japanese mom told by that ahjumma that we are beautiful
Then they said 'Kireii desune~" and asked about where we come from

Third, a group of harabuji (old man - grandpa) tried to take photo of me
and tried to match me with one of their friend (lol)
and situation got strange as they keep talking in korean but still pointing at me,
and I just leave because more of them are joining conversation that I didn't understand

Well,
I've experience worse situation in my old days
I already sharing it here
self confidence once become my big problem
and experience this is one of my memory that I treasure

Now, what is the meaning of beautiful itself?
When you, always complaining about not pretty enough,
But other people, even strangers, told you that you are so fine
When I'm imagining said it to other people, heartfully, who will it be?
Why I said beautiful randomly to a stranger whom I look just by seconds?
She or he must be let out their charm beautifully so that other people have the urge to tell them
(well, I always do that when I find a cute little girl lol)

So here is the video and you will know how it feels~

Beautiful, they have no measure, fit for all of people
So, first, to see good things from yourself, stop compare with other people
I think, it is because of we're different (by wearing hijab there), that's not meant we're strange
We have our own way to decide what kind of 'beautiful' we are searching for
We know, and we don't follow any beautiful measure but tried to listen to ourself
I think that kind of confidence that makes other people see that good side of us

Well, I learn a lot.
Next time, I tried to compliment people more, always seek good side from them
By doing this, a simple thing like this,
More people will see a good side from themself
I've already experience one good thing,
Thanks to the really nice ahjumma and ahjussi in Korea (lol)

"The sign of beautiful person is that
they always see beauty in others"

that quotes is true indeed ^^

Listen:
All of woman are pretty
Pretty by treasure themself well
Pretty by know themself well
Pretty by treat other people nicely
Pretty by know how to act politely

and about myself as late bloomer (even never have a date once)
and other my friends who experience the same as me,
Never have a date doesn't mean you less pretty, I assure that hahaa
But time will make you the best people who deserve for the best one

Cherry Blossom Festival at Jinhae

Have you ever been in place or situation where you feel like starring at romantic Korean drama?
If you ever visited Jinhae for Cherry Blossom Festival, you will know how I feel :D

This is my first time visit Korea for a trip and I already welcoming by the beautiful cherry blossom everywhere. I thought after all this time cherry blossom just a cliche symbolic of love but after seeing it myself, I'm all in love with them just in second. The mellow-dramatic-romantic feeling is really strong with this. Couples are everywhere (so does their PDA act) and here, I with my other 3 single friends cursing our loveless life (Hahahaa).

I think I really lucky to come by the spring to Korea. The weather is not too cold, not too hot (but still, you have to check weather forecast). The temperature is between 7-20 celcius degree so you can wear shirt in layer and leave your coat at home (like I did hahaa)

Jinhae have the largest festival of cherry blossom in Korea. It started from 1 April to 10 April because the cherry blossom only full blooming for 2 weeks every year. Jinhae is a small city located 1 hour from Busan by Bus. The cost of bus is only 5100 won for 1 trip. When you step up from Jinhae bus station, all of their road already covered in pink with full blooming of Cherry Blossom everywhere.

Selfie, selfie everywhere~

Definitely the best time to wear pink

This place called romantic bridge, located about 20 min by walking from Jinhae Bus Station

This scene really got me, because when everyone take selfie and couple showing their PDA act, this girl have the best way to enjoy cherry blossom blooming. She just sit there quietly with her 2 cats as her company, drawing some cherry blossom flowers.

Her cat's name is Milk, kyeoppta~

And finally make friend with Tana (or Kana?), a bit shy but friendly girl. She lives in Jinhae, really near from this place (So lucky T_T). Every afternoon she would sit here and enjoying cherry blossom.

Cherry blossom can make a cute hair accessories

A lot of small family enjoying cherry blossoms too~
Look at this cute boy and his (hot) papa.

Looking at this beautiful scenery everuwhere makes me daydreaming,
one day I definitely will visit this place again with my love one~ hhahaa

Mirrorless Camera Sony A6000

Well, this time I want to share my experience using sony a6000 fot the first time.
I'm not a pro photographer but I'm enjoying taking photos with DSLR camera. I took my photography when I was in college (It's about architecture photography tho) and I got A mark. I think, photography is my new hobby and I hope I can take more good photos.

Well, I always using manual mode with my bro's camera: DSLR Canon 1100D. All of people know that canon 1100D is a really good camera for beginner and I'm enjoying the features. It really easy when changing setting (ISO, F, speed) even when I have to take photo immediately. What I'm enjoy the most is I can take many photos and video without worrying about battery. I can use the battery from 100% to almost empty in 2-3 days, even when I have a lot of photos to take.

I decided to buy mirrorless camera when some my friends recommend it to me. I don't have any camera with complex feature before (except for digital camera) and I want it to be similar with my brother's. SLR/DSLR is a really good camera, but I have some of inconvenience especially when I have to take photos related to research survey. Bringing the big camera can gather public attention and several times I have to deal with security for taking photos at public facility (like train station, etc). I don't know what different from their perspective, taking photo with camdig or DSLR. They just afraid that I will take photos for media or something like that. It's not fair when I took photos with my camdig days later, they don't take it so serious.

This mirrorless camera have a small body according to another SLR/DSLR camera. It's because, they already remove the 'mirror' inside the camera system so that they appear smaller and lighter. Its really good for street photography, holiday, and portrait purpose.

Why I choose Sony A6000?
Well, I have several options. Between Canon, Fujifilm and Sony. Fujifilm seems really trendy with the vintage appearance. It looks like you carry the old camera but with digital features. Canon mirrorless, it seems they don't really have special feature compared to Sony and Fujifilm. For Sony, they have several series: A5000, A5100, Sony Nex series, A6000, A7. A lot of blog reviewing Sony A6000 for the best mirrorless camera. Mostly because of the high resolution (24 megapixel) and Hybrid AF (179 detect points). But personally for me, compared with other sony mirrorless camera, the button is really easy to use. You can set the manual mode easily and it has viewfinder. About the lenses option, its true that they don't have many option compare to SLR/DSLR camera. But lens is not my priority. Actually, at first I will go to Sony A5000 because my budget didn't allow me to :"" but, I'm waiting and save more money to buy A6000. After 1 year, I got this mirrorless camera. Worth for me to wait.

After I got the camera in my hand, I find it hard to playing with focus. Maybe because I have to adapt with more complex setting, with more options in it. I only got 16-50mm lens for everyday use. After trying several times and learning from youtube videos, I set the focus setting to AEL button. It easier for me to handle the AF. But, I have no idea how to playing with manual focus.

What I really like in this camera, you can shoot in the darkness very well because they have ISO up to 25600! Wow.. Before this I have to satisfied only with 6400. Compared to Canon 1100D with maximum ISO, Sony A6000 seems not really bother with noises. It still look so smooth.

I have interest in nature photography, especially flowers and insects. So I bought a Macro Extension Tube AF E-mount only for $40. It worthed every penny, rather than buying another lens which have the same price with the camera itself.

mine is white color. kawaii nee~

Sooo, this is my first hunting for macro photography, with my Sony A6000, 16-55mm, Macro Extension Tube AF E-mount. Usually I have to zoom in to maximum 50mm then playing with zoom and AF to find the best focus. I set ISO up to 10000-20000 with minimum F and speed between 1/50 to 1/250. No edit for the picture below.

What do you think?
Personally I like how this camera got the colors right and it can snap your moment beautifully
But still, I have to learn more about focusing the object.

Later I will post my shoots when I went to Korea for a trip!
